"The grocery store tomatoes make my teeth hurt. The tomatoes here are softer, and they taste really, really sweet!"

-A young Farm Camper after harvesting tomatoes with her family during U-Pick

This child discovered that food tastes different when it is freshly picked, grown with care, and harvested with her own hands. Moments like this are why community farms matter.

At Common Ground Farm, nourishment means more than growing vegetables. We cultivate children's curiosity, strengthen local farmers and food businesses, and help ensure that our neighbors can access fresh, healthy food through our BackPack program, produce donations, and farmers' markets.

Your gift makes this work possible.

This summer, we're raising $25,000 to support our food access and education programs—at the farm, in local schools, and throughout our farmers' markets.

When you give, you help:

  • Connect children with the land and the food they eat
  • Increase access to fresh, healthy food for local families
  • Support local farmers, bakers, and makers
  • Build a healthier, more resilient local food system

Every gift helps grow a community with a deep understanding of how good food grows and a shared commitment to ensuring that everyone can experience the joy of tasting a sun-warmed tomato straight from the vine—and the connection to land, farmers, and community that it represents.

Make your gift today and help nourish our community.

Donors who give $250 or more will receive a special edition Common Ground Farm market tote as our thanks.
