Beacon Pollinators
Make Beacon a Pollinator Friendly City
The Beacon Pollinators are dedicated to developing a more pollinator-friendly city. We empower others in transforming ecologically unproductive land into thriving gardens for wild bees, butterflies and birds through education and by making native plants more accessible.
As a small group of volunteers, we started building pathways in 2022 and offering educational programs. We partner with organizations including the Conservation Advisory Committee, Parks Department, Beacon City School District and Common Ground Farm to create new pathways and learning opportunities.
Your contribution will greatly help us further our goals in making Beacon a destination for pollinators and enhancing our city’s biodiversity.
We want to hear from you! Let us know if you are interested in volunteering on one of our projects and/or want to be added to our mailing list. Contact us at: beaconnypollinators@gmail.com.
The conservation of Earth’s resources, including its living biological systems, must become part of the everyday culture of us all, worldwide.
